The London Olympics ~ and some great Deals for Hotels near Buckingham Palace

Well the Olympics are certainly proving to be exciting despite the various controversies, including the doping accusations.  One colleague's view on that is that they should make doping legal.  That way, the athlete with the best chemist wins.  In the end, you are rewarding excellence and recognising both biochemical and physical achievement.  Viewed from that logic, it makes perfect sense.

Nevertheless, it will all be ending soon, and those of you who were showing some reluctance to visit London during the games can now have a rethink.  And think about this  -  there really is no excuse not to come and visit one of Europe's greatest cities.  Even more so because at the moment we have some great offers for cheap London hotels.    Here is another star deal now available for hotels near London's most famous address ......

Theatre Breaks London Hotels

It's Wimbledon time, of course, and we have any amount of TV, radio and general news coverage of everything happening.  A lot of it, as it does every year, centres on Andy Murray and the repeated conjecture about whether or not this will be his year to win the singles championship. It is good to have a perennial question of doubt where we can all be left wondering will he or won't he, and I'm sure we will be asking the same question next year.

Next month, we will again have saturation sports coverage, this time for the Olympics. But leaving sport aside it is also the start of the BBC Proms which has its origins all the way back to 1885, and on the 23 July the regular Buckingham Palace Summer opening when the public can grab the chance to visit the elegant State Apartments.

Just the right time, I think, to browse through the recent deals for London hotels midweek breaks that are now on promotion.  For theatre lovers, here is another bonus  -

Midweek Hotel Breaks in London

Using intuitive strategies that would do credit to MI5's dirty tricks department, I managed last week to oil my way through a bumpy, difficult and angst inducing schedule of work. By Sunday, even somewhat to my surprise, I felt peach-perfect and simmered quietly with a sense of sedate achievement. The details are unimportant, I think.  What matters as long as you're left feeling good. For the most part no one would notice anything different with me except for a smug sense of contentment.

So let me share the joy. Chosen from the latest promotions for  cheap London hotels here is the feature offer midweek hotel breaks in London  -
