Worth a visit - Shakespeare's Globe Theatre

Your trip to the capital will start of well if you have secured a stay in one of our London budget hotels. But once here you should try and fit into your itinerary a visit to the famous Globe theatre. This open-air theatre is right beside the Tate Modern and it has been created as a replica of the Globe theatre of Shakespeare's time. In fact, the original theatre site is just a few hundred yards away and it was there that the circular and roofless wooden Globe was first built in 1599.

If you visit the Globe, you can also enjoy the enthralling exhibition which gives an impressive insight into Shakespeare's world and Elizabethan theatre. You can find more details here at the Globe Theatre website.

Our special deal this post can put you right in the heart of wonderful Chelsea ........
