Well the Olympics are certainly proving to be exciting despite the various controversies, including the doping accusations. One colleague's view on that is that they should make doping legal. That way, the athlete with the best chemist wins. In the end, you are rewarding excellence and recognising both biochemical and physical achievement. Viewed from that logic, it makes perfect sense.
Nevertheless, it will all be ending soon, and those of you who were showing some reluctance to visit London during the games can now have a rethink.
